Join us for our Bend October Happy Hour, where we will be picking out recipes from our October book, Good Lookin’ Cookin’ by Dolly Parton and Rachel Parton George!
We will have copies of the book for folks to peruse, swap laughs and cooking tips, and pick a recipe to make for our Dinner Party on October 11th. (Note: please register for the dinner party here to reserve your spot before the happy hour — we have been selling out!)
As always, the happy hour is also an opportunity to bring cookbooks to swap with fellow cookbook lovers — so if you have any cookbooks you’re looking to give a new home, bring ‘em!
When: Wednesday, September 30th, 4:30 – 6pm (swing by anytime!)

About Our October Book:
In honor of Dolly Parton’s life and legacy, we will be cooking from the cookbook she co-authored with her sister - Good Lookin’ Cookin’! As you would expect from the iconic Dolly, the cookbook is filled with southern-inspired recipes from her family and life in Tennessee, organized by month of the year - with lots of celebratory dishes, lyrical puns, and dishes that we will surely delight in. I didn’t know that Dolly had written a cookbook, and reading and cooking through this book the past few weeks has been such a wonderful way to learn more about Dolly’s life, family, and the food that was so near and dear to her heart. I hope you all are as excited as I am to celebrate Dolly together through her recipes!
