Join us for our Bend August Happy Hour, where we will be picking out recipes from our August book, The Wishbone Kitchen Cookbook by Meredith Hayden!
We will have copies of the book for folks to peruse, swap laughs and cooking tips, and pick a recipe to make for our Dinner Party on August 30th. (Note: please register for the dinner party here to reserve your spot before the happy hour — we have been selling out!)
As always, the happy hour is also an opportunity to bring cookbooks to swap with fellow cookbook lovers — so if you have any cookbooks you’re looking to give a new home, bring ‘em!

About Our August Book:
The Wishbone Kitchen Cookbook was published last summer, and over the past year I have found myself turning to Meredith Hayden’s recipes whenever I am seeking a fun, delicious, and expertly-tested recipe. Meredith is hailed as the “Gen Z Martha Stewart” and got her start as a private chef. This book is filled with seasonal treasures that highlight her lifestyle living on Nantucket Island. Recipes range from easy weeknight dinners (shake and bake chicken!) to showstoppers (a lobster boil!) that I think will make for a whimsical, delicious dinner party. Many of her recipes are summer produce-centric, so I thought August would be the perfect month for us to dig into this book!
