Bend April Dinner Party: "Made in India"
Join us for our Bend April Dinner Party hosted by Flights Wine Bar! We will be cooking from Meera Sodha’s cookbook, “Made in India”!
About our April Book:
A recommendation from member Melinda Lee, “Made In India” is an accessible, wonderful love story to Indian cuisine. Meera shares the recipes she grew up eating every day, with vibrant flavors that are surprisingly approachable and easy to make. On the menu is a wide variety of incredible dishes, from beet and feta samosas, to kachumbar salad, to spinach and salmon curry, and even a mango, lime and passion fruit jello. Yum!!
How Jill’s Cookbook Club Dinner Party Works:
Step #1: Register for the dinner! You are in the right place - just add to cart below. The cost is $25/person to cover the cost of renting our lovely dinner venue. Registering puts you on the email list for the dinner, which means you will have your spot reserved for the dinner (we often sell out!), receive the Dinner Menu on April 18th, and get important event reminders and updates.
Step#2: Pick a Recipe! You don’t need to buy the book to participate. First dibs on recipes goes to folks that come to the Planning Happy Hour, where there will be several copies of the book to select your recipe. After the Planning Happy Hour, the “Dinner Menu” will be emailed out to everyone who has registered for the dinner - and it will have links to available recipes and a sign-up sheet for you to select the one that calls to you!
Step #3: Come to the Dinner! You do not need to bring silverware or plates - just bring your dish as-written and whatever utensil you need to serve it!
Step #4: Have FUN and enjoy a truly absurd amount of delicious food while hanging with fellow food lovers! Beverages (including amazing wine) will be available for purchase.
When: Sunday April 27th, 6 - 8pm
Where: Flights Wine Bar, 1444 NW College Way, Bend, OR 97703
If you’d like to buy the book (not required to participate!) we recommend ordering from Roundabout Books - you can do so on their website or by giving them a call!
