Bend June Dinner Party: "The Oregon Farm Table Cookbook"
Join us for our Bend June Dinner Party hosted by Flights Wine Bar! We will be cooking from local chef and cookbook author, Karista Bennett’s, lovely cookbook “The Oregon Farm Table Cookbook” - and she’ll be joining us for dinner!
Inspired by Oregon's local bounty, from notable food artisans like Bob's Red Mill to esteemed restaurants like Local Ocean Seafood...From apples and asparagus to grass-fed beef and freshly caught salmon to wine and craft beer, farm-to-table abundance has shaped Oregon's identity. The state is known for championing small businesses and artisans, especially its family-run farms, orchards, breweries and restaurants. In The Oregon Farm Table Cookbook, Karista Bennett invites you to share in this community, serving up deliciously unique recipes and more. With charming farm profiles, family memories created around food, and gorgeous color photography, this is the perfect way to bring Oregon home to your kitchen - and the perfect way to kick off farmer’s market season in Central Oregon!
How Jill’s Cookbook Club Dinner Party Works:
Step #1: Pick a Recipe! You don’t need to buy the book to participate. First dibs on recipes goes to folks that come to the Planning Happy Hour, where there will be several copies of the book to select your recipe. After the Planning Happy Hour, the “Dinner Menu” will be emailed out to everyone who has registered for the dinner - and it will have links to available recipes and a sign-up sheet for you to select the one that calls to you!
Step #2: Come to the Dinner! You do not need to bring silverware or plates - just bring your dish as-written and whatever utensil you need to serve it!
Step #3: Have FUN and enjoy a truly absurd amount of delicious food while hanging with fellow food lovers! Beverages (including amazing wine) will be available for purchase.
When: Sunday June 30th, 6 - 8pm
